Rocket Raccoon Image Manipulation Process

This image was created as a demo for the Intro to Photoshop class I teach at the local college. The image centers around Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. The image was created entirely inside of Adobe Photoshop CS6. The image is made up of several different photos. The purpose of the demo is to create a fairytale character from several images and make it look real. Below is the process from "mockup" to finish.
